Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor is now following the footsteps of Aamir Khan, by getting choosier. Reportedly, Shahid Kapur declined a romantic film offer by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Apparently, Shahid wants to work in a different stream now. The 30-year-old actor has diverted his attention from acting in romantic films into action films. Superstar Mahesh Babu is undoubtedly one of the most handsome and charming heroes in the country. So, finding a leading lady who could match Mahesh onscreen is always a tough call.
The pairing of Mahesh and Ileana worked big time in Pokiri and the film turned out to be a record breaking hit. After that, none of the actresses who were paired opposite Mahesh lived up to the expectations (Mahesh-Trisha in Sainikudu, Mahesh-Amritha Rao in Athidi, Mahesh-Anushka in Khaleja and Mahesh-Samantha in Dookudu). Though Samantha scored some decent mark with her performance in Dookudu, Mahesh overshadowed her completely with his terrific screen presence.
