Ram Charan's 'Racha' movie latest Updates


Ram Charan's forthcoming film 'Racha' is progressing at a brisk pace. The unit has recently completed a long schedule in Sri Lanka, where few vital scenes are canned on Ram Charan and Tamanna. This film will also have a remix song from Chiru's blockbuster flick 'Gand Leader'. Ram Charan, who is very excited about the film, says Racha will not disappoint his fans this time.

"Racha is an out-and-out commercial entertainer. It has everything - Comedy, Romance, Fights, Songs and Sentiment. It's like a full meal," said Ram Charan. Ram Charan's last outing 'Orange' turned out to be a dud at the box office. The actor is now determined to show that he is not a one-film wonder. Racha unit will soon be heading to Bangkok to shoot a fight sequence and a couple of songs. The makers were planning to release the film during Dussehra Festival.

Telangana activists attacked Prince Mahesh Babu


It looks like the Telangana activists have once again started targeting the Telugu film industry, dominiated by Seemandhra people, in their attempt to highlight their demand for separate Telangana state. On Sunday, the Telangana activists attacked Prince Mahesh Babu and smashed his car at the shooting of his latest film “Dookudu” at being shot at Anantagiri hills near Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district.
Enraged Telangana workers, protesting against the Centre’s delay on the on Telangana state formation, attacked the shooting of Mahesh Babu’s film. The agitators set on fire a special set erected exclusively for the film and when the shooting crew resisted the attack, they pelted stones at the sets, damaged cameras, lighting equipment and vehicles. In the process, Mahesh Babu’s car got damaged. The police took into custody four persons, while the other slogan shouting Telangana activists left the place.

Pawan's 'Kaali' Completes Kerala Schedule


Pawan Kalyan's new movie (tentatively titled 'Kaali) has just wrapped up the Kerala schedule. The unit came here couple of weeks back to film songs and scenes on Pawan Kalyan and heroine Sarah Jane Dias and they have done successfuly.  They shot some hilarious sequences between Bramanandam  and Pawan Kalyan and also a superb song choreography by Dinesh. The next schedule of the movie would begin at Karaikudi and Kerala and continue till Aug 15.
Sources say that the unit is pretty happy with the outcome of the movie and Pawan has done some superb numbers in this movie. Wonder how would it turn out to be!  The makers are under pressure to release the film by Diwali but that looks very tough althought considerable amount of shooting has been over. Adivi Sesh is playing the other hero in this movie, which is directed by Tamil director Vishnuvardhan and penned by Abburi Ravi.

I think, relationships will not last for much longer peroid. Salman Khan hikes his price to 50 crores


After the recent success of his movies, Salman Khan has hiked his price to Rs 50 cores. The actor who was charging 40 crores for a movie will now take home a whopping amount of Rs 50 crores. Salman Khan has not only hiked his fees but also become very choosy when it comes to director. When he signs a film, he also gives suggestion of suitable directors to the makers.

“Salman is not only quoting a fee close to Rs 50 crore, he is also 'recommending' (Ready: appointing) directors for these films. Like, for the T Series project Salman has put forward the names of two directors and has asked producer Bhushan Kumar to choose from one of them. Furthermore, he insisted on Sonakshi Sinha for Kick and now he's recommending Zarine Khan to his prospective producers," a source told film expert Subhash K Jha. Filmmaker Bhushan Kumar confirms that Sallu has re-structured his fee, "When Salman bhai did Ready the film industry was facing a huge financial crunch. But he agreed to cut down his price from Rs 40 crore to Rs 17 crore. This was the only way we could have made Ready at that time. Now the market has changed for the entire film industry. So, we are currently re-negotiating with him for our next film."

Mohan Babu to Romance Five heroines


Not one or three, but Collection King Mohan Babu will romance five heroines in a forthcoming film of his. He has announced the same at a press briefing held to mark his marriage day celebrations on July 29. True to his style, the actor will make a comeback with a sensational ensemble cast. Mahesh Babu is reportedly playing the role of a tough cop in this film. The movie is expected to release on August 26. Kona Venkat is penning the dialogues and Gopi Mohan is the story writer. Versatile Actor craving for Sonakshi Sinha


We are aware that, Bollywood latest sensation Sonakshi Sinha opted out of Kamal Hassan's bilingual film 'Vishwaroopam', citing dates problem. She was to play Kamal's wife in the film. Sonakshi's decision to opt out comes as a surprise since the actress was very enthusiastic when she initially signed the film. But, her excitement didn't last for longer. As the film failed to go on floors as per schedule, due to the creative differences between Kamal and director Selvaraghavan. Selvaraghavan walked out of the project in the last miniute. After that, Kamal decided to direct the film by himself, which delayed the shoot further.Sonakshi has no other option but to opt out of the film, due to her prior commitment. The actress was even upset with the fact that she has lost the opportunity to share screen space with legendary Kamal Hassan. 
According to the sources, Kamal was very particular about casting Sonakshi opposite him, after watching her performance in 'Dabangg'. The female lead role in the film was written keeping her in mind. So, he is now sending feelers to Sonakshi, asking her to do film. "There is no chance Sonakshi can allote dates to Kamal's film. Her callsheets were full for 2011," said a source close to film. A Legendary Actor like Kamal Hassan craving to pair up with one film old Actress is quite an unusual thing that can happen. Let's see whether Kamal waits for her dates for few more months or Sonakshi adjusts her call sheets for him!

Milk white beauty Tamanna is completely awestruck by the terrific performance of versatile actor Vikram in the critical acclaimed film 'Nanna'. "In the film 'Nanna', Vikram's acting was brilliant. I believe, portraying a role like that will never be easy. Only great actors can do justice to such roles. In the role of mentally challenged, he outshined even Kamal Hassan," said Tamanna. The actress also expressed her desire to share screen space with Vikram.

"I have already shared screen space with all the top actors in Tamil Industry - except Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan and Vikram. I know that, I'm not having the experience to act opposite Rajini and Kamal. But, I have the desire to pair up with Vikram. I will not think about my role, story and remuneration, if a role was offered in his film. In Vikram's film, the story and characters of other actors will be extremely good. Most importantly, Heroine's role with be vital. Coming to remuneration, acting opposite Vikram itself is my biggest remuneration. I hope that my wish will come true soon," said the beauty.
