Is Naga Chaitanya Really A Star?
Speaking about the star kids of Tollywood, one name which has been vying for the tag of a star is Naga Chaitanya. Now, his graph at the box office may well be calling him a star but a little insight from a few has now brought upon few doubts and they ask if it is too early to name him a star. They say “Chaitu made his debut with ‘Josh’ and this happened with daddy Nagarjuna’s image, then came ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ which succeeded but it was primarily due to Gautham Menon and A R Rahman. Even ‘100% Love’s success can be attributed to director Sukumar and Allu Aravind’s banner.”
Buzz is that Chaitu’s latest offering ‘Dhada’ is not getting the craze. Many say the reason for that is the producer Shivaprasad Reddy is weak as he has been reeling through few flops. On the other hand, Chaitu’s ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ got craze due to the publicity guru RGV factor while ‘Autonagar Surya’ got it due to the successful ‘Prasthanam’ director Deva Katta factor. With this, the analysts say “Chaitu is getting credit due to others but not his own. If he has strength then ‘Dhada’ should have got the craze. So, if this becomes a hit then it will give the star image to Chaitu.” Let us see what happens…
Ram is pairing up with Samantha in Gowtham Menon direction
Young hero Ram is pairing up with Samantha to act in the direction of Gowtham Menon as per the sources. It is said that the movie is going to be made on Sravanthi Movies banner. After 'Ye Maya Chesave', obviously the craze stands stronger for Gowtham Menon. It is also a positive phenomenon for Ram to get call from Gowtham at this juncture. Although Ram pinned his hopes fully on Kandireega, this Gowtham Menon film surely adds value to his career. After Kandireega and before Gowtham Menon’s film Ram is coming up with Karunakarans's 'Endukante Premanta'.
Ram's character name in Gowtham Menon's film is Varun and he is playing the role of a lovable son to his parents. This is also a tailor made film for Ram with love and action episodes but in the style of Gowtham Menon.
Trisha to tie the Knot ?
Actress Trisha has finally got her man it seems. Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan was more concerned about her daughter’s marriage and was restlessly hunting for a right man for her daughter since last couple of months had finally shortlisted Amruth, an entrepreneur based out of Chennai. Amruth belongs to a Chennai based business family. However, Trisha is not at all interested in arranged marriage and wants to spend time with her man before marriage to understand him better. It seems Trisha’s mother and Amruth has accepted her condition as the duo is seen together at many parties and functions enjoying and having fun. Recently they were spotted at their common friend’s party. Even at the NDTV award function they were spotted together where she has received Style award and Amruth was there to cheer her up sitting in the first row.
Trisha is currently busy with the shooting of his current project in Telugu Ganga-The Bodyguard, which is a remake of Malayalam hit film Bodyguard. Whenever she is getting break, she is flying to Chennai to spend good time with Amruth and friends. The wedding seems to be in the next year as Trisha is quite busy with her present projects. But their engagement is expected to happen in next month (September, 2011) it seems.
'Yes, I love him' says Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone reacted to the gossips about her alleged relationship with Siddharth Mallya. The hot tall lass said they are just friends and marriage wasn't there in their mind. "We are just friends and there is nothing like an affair between us. Marriage proposal never came between us and we don't even have such intentions. But, upon seeing the repeated gossips about us in media, I'm forced to react on them," said Deepika.
When questioned about the couple attending late night parties and touring foreign countries should be treated as just friendship, Deepika lost her cool with the media. "I'm not in a position to learn the true meaning of friendship from you. I know what I'm. If I take any decision, I will first present it before the media. I'm not the person who speaks one thing and does other. If you follow me closely from the start of my film career, you will know that. I have learnt it from my dad, how to speak out what's there in my mind without any fear. If I love Siddharth, I will not hesitate to say 'Yes, I love him'," she told.
I have no differences with Kajal: Chaitu
For the first time, Tollywood young heartthrob Naga Chaitanya has reacted to the rumors about him. Chaitu condemned the reports in media about the clash between him and 'Dhada' leading lady Kajal Agarwal. "There is no clash between Me and Kajal. She is a good friend of mine. I don't know from where these rumours come from," said Naga Chaitanya. On reacting to the rumors about his secret engagement and marriage.
Naga Chaitanya clarified that his marriage will not take place secretly. "I won't marry secretly. I will announce it in a pressmeet," said the actor. Naga Chaitanya revealed his plans to remake NTR-ANR combo "Gundamma Katha" with NTR. ”Jr NTR and Me are looking forward to remake Gundamma Katha. The challenge is to find the right artiste for Gundamma(Surya Kantham's role). Once that is finalized, we will do it.” The young hero predicted that there won't be any 100 day films in future. "Currently, there are no 100 day films. The producer will recover the investments in the first 3-4 weeks. 100 day films won't be there in future," Chaitu told. Naga Chaitanya's 'Dhada' is gearing up for release on August 11, even before his superhit film '100% Love' completes 100 days in theaters.
Dookudu Item Song in Ramoji Film City
Prince Mahesh Babu has started dubbing for Dookudu movie for the 1st half today. All other artists have completed their dubbing and the crew is simultaneously carrying on the background score for the graphics work. Dookudu unit is supposed to shoot an item song in Ramoji Film City on August 4 but due to Telangana Bandh the shooting might be postponed for a couple of days.
Further, there's another family song, which involves almost the entire crew and this would be canned after the item song. The climax fight will be shot after that and with this the shooting of Dhookudu will be completed and the unit can break the pumpkin. Dookudu audio songs release is expected to take place on August 11.
