Young hero Ram, who is riding high with the success of 'Kandireega', says his film has turned into a money spinner. "Kandireega have been collecting huge revenue irrespective of all the centers. In Overseas, it has already collected 70 lakhs for 13 screens. Filmmakers from other languages are competing to acquire the rights of this film," said Ram.
The actor revealed that his contemporary heroes Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR have congratulated him on the success of 'Kandireega'. "Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR spoke to me over phone and congratulated me. Mahesh spoke at length about the film. They always encouraged me," says the energetic star. Ram also thanked the websites for positive reviews. Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movie 'Shadow'(tentative title) is a very noir kind of film, which is set against mafia background. 'Shadow' is a gangster film about a protagonist on a journey and his fight within himself to discover that you can't fight your own dynasty.
Director Vishnuvardhan(Tamil 'Billa' fame), who is known for making stylish action flicks is once again applying his own formula to this film. Sarah Jane Dias and Kingfisher model Anjali Lavania are roped in to play the female leads in it. Sesh Adivi('Karma' fame) is playing the villain in the film. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and PS Vinod is handling the cinematography. The film is slated for release in November or December. |
