Getting into the split, Dookudu collections on the first day were Rs. 45 lakhs in East Godavari district and trade pundits say that it is an all time record. Similarly, Dookudu collections (gross) in Ananthpur on day 1 were around 14,32,500 lakhs, and in Guntur district, the collections were spell bounding as the movie amassed a record share of more than 80 lakhs battering the previous best of Magadheera by 22 lakhs.
Dookudu netted an awesome Rs 15.35 Lakhs from 15 screens in Chennai city & suburbs and this is the highest ever opening for a Telugu film in Chennai!
