Sekhar Kammula releases logo of Dulquer-Sai Pallavi’s ‘Hey Pillagada’:

Dulquer Salman, who impressed the audience with ‘OK Bangaram’, is a name to reckon with in Mollywood. Sai Pallavi, who is Tollywood’s newest heartthrob, is the ‘okka piece’ sensation of ‘Premam’ and ‘Fidaa’ fame. A film in their combination is all set to entertain the audience.

The Malayalam hit ‘Kali’ will be released in Telugu as ‘Hey Pillagada’. DV Krishna Swamy, a prominent distributor of Ceded territory, is producing it on Lakshmi Chennakesava Films. Directed by Sameer Thahir, the action-thriller literally means ‘Rage’ in Malayalam.

The film’s logo was on Saturday released by Tollywood’s fine director, Sekhar Kammula. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “The film has done very well in Malayalam and Tamil. I hereby extend my best wishes to the producer and the lead pair. I wish that ‘Hey Pillagada’ will be a big hit in Telugu as well.”

Writer Basha Sri said, “All the dubbing works have been completed. The Telugu version has come out so well. Hemachandra has dubbed for the hero. It makes us happy that Kammula garu has released the logo. I am happy to be a part of this film.”

Srinivasa Murthy said, “After ‘Fidaa’, this is Sai Pallavi’s first release in Telugu. This being a different love story, everybody will like it.”

Lyricist Surendra Krishna said, “I am happy to have penned a melody for ‘Hey Pillagada’. The film will surely be the audience’s favourite. Dulquer and Sai Pallavi make for a very cute pair. It’s a romantic film with doses of action.”

Producer DV Krishna Swamy said, “This film tells a distinct love story. The youngsters out there will connect with the emotions. We are planning to release the film on September 8.”

Gopi Sunder, who has composed music for some of the best movies and who has been awarded as the best music director at the national level, is this film’s music director.

Dialogues are by Bhasha Sri. Lyrics are by Surendra Krishna. The cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan. Executive Producer is Dakshin Srinivas.
